We acknowledge that level of education or language skills do not equal someone\u2019s level of intelligence.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We all come with different experiences that may be affected by racism, sexism, classism, homophobia, ageism, ableism, apartheid, and many other systems of oppression. We will not debate the existence of these systems of oppression in our space. We request that all of you share your personal pronouns to make our organizing spaces more inclusive.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As union members, we are committed to assuming people\u2019s best intentions; knowing that asking questions intended to further understanding of each other is not a disagreement. We are committed to understanding that the impact of our words can be as important as their intention; that sometimes our intentions may be harmless but how someone experiences them can be harmful.
